who will tell about the city?

during the Shoah [Holocaust], most of the Jewish towns were wiped off the face of the earth. people who survived the war could not return home, and many had nowhere to return. sometimes memory is the only thing that can speak; that is how izkor biher "books of memory", were established.

"misto" is a multimedia project based on interviews with Ukrainians who left their homes due to the full-scale Russian invasion, and a series of exhibitions about their hometown, home and perceptions of war.

the main method of the project is in-depth interviews in Ukrainian, Russian, English and Hebrew: memories of the hometown, childhood, smells, sounds. these are imaginary walks through native places and deep within oneself.
